That is all.
One more silly thing to play with… if you dare. Personally, I’m not so sure the experience of potentially figuring out once and for all if my computer is possessed is worth the potential malware exposure.
So, I may be late in posting this, but I have certainly be sharing this with people; I was talking about it all last week. This is the most awesomely hilarious thing I have read in the news in a long time.
I suspect the media took a joke seriously, or at best that the real reason the pirates retreat is that they know when the music comes on it means that there are armed forces who are aware of- and prepared to deal with- their presence. But, still. Let’s just pretend this is something that can be taken totally seriously, k?
I talked to it for a little while.
It asked me if my friends made me happy, and signed off shortly after it asked me if I was in love, and admitted it didn’t understand what I meant when I said “no.” In other words, if I had been on a dating site, it would have passed the Turing test with flying colors.
This post is late, sorry. It’s also (therefore) meta.
I’ve been distracted for a bit, and while I’ve had plenty of stuff from the news to talk about, it’s mostly been like “Welp, the US is shooting itself and the rest of the world in the foot, apparently. Woo.”
Fukuppy, the Japanese refrigeration company’s Fukushima Industries (no relation to the nuclear plant)’s mascot is much more fun to contemplate.
